Broken
βBrokenβ is a reflection on human-made climate change. The mosaicked flower is a symbol of what could happen if we donβt take climate change seriously. It represents a desperate attempt to fix a broken planet once itβs too late and the imminent risk of nature falling into pieces.
Using wood offcuts donated by the furniture company Grain, I cut the wood up into smaller pieces and layered them together.
Exhibited at the Royal Exchange as part of a group show by The Crossover Project run by Roddy Clarke and AurΓ©lia Islimye.
