Broken
‘Broken’ is a reflection on human-made climate change. The mosaicked flower, made from wood offcuts donated by the furniture company Grain, is a symbol of what could happen if we don’t take climate change seriously. It represents a desperate attempt to fix a broken planet once it’s too late and the imminent risk of nature falling into pieces.
Exhibited at the Royal Exchange as part of a group show by The Crossover Project run by Roddy Clarke and Aurélia Islimye.
